Gold vermeil is a plating technique that encases a sterling silver base with a thick layer of gold. Unlike standard gold plating, gold vermeil shows less wear over time. To clean, use a dry microfiber cloth and wipe down the piece using light pressure. Do not apply water or other chemicals.
